1. The bank operates through a network of 110+ branches, loan centers and two overseas representative offices and it employs around 2000 people

2. The bank has initiated a plan to improve its branding. This plan aims to establish the “Hokkoku brand” as a familiar and beloved name for the people in the region

3. It plays a major emphasis on quality, cost and speed with which it was able to garner a strong customer base

4. The bank also gives foreign exchanges services to customers


1. The bank is not focused on the personal banking segment which is increasing at a growing pace and is missing on the opportunities provided

2. Cash and cash equivalents have decreased when compared to the previous year and this would affect the bank’s ability to cover its short term liabilities
