Definition: Authorization Code
Authorization code can be any kind of a code or number or a password which can authorize an action which is meant specifically for a person with that code. In many companies these days authorization codes are required to print documents, use phone for calling particular locations or approve something.
The authorization code not only provides the security on who or who cannot access but it also records who completed that particular action at that time so that in future in case of any issue, records are present.
