Definition: EIA Natural Gas Report
EIA Natural Gas Report is a weekly natural gas report published every Thursday by Energy Information Administration. This report includes the data regarding the natural gas reserves stored underground in the US. It is published every Thursday which includes the previous week’s data.
Prices of natural gas in the US is determined by the data provided in this report and it depends on the amount of reserves available. This report comprises the data regarding the prices and reserves of natural gas available in the US and supply, demand and consumption of natural gas.
The law of supply and demand applies well to natural gas if reserves fall the prices increase and vice-versa. So investors uses Eia natural gas report as a prerequisite for making investment decisions.
EIA also publishes natural gas report on monthly and annual basis but weekly report is very important in the US.
