Definition: Cash Budget
Cash Budget is an outlay of the revenue – expenditure plan of the firm for a certain time period. It helps draft the expenses involved in either of financial, operating or investing activities and the expected revenues which should be received. Accordingly, the firm’s current and future cash position is predicted and analyzed whether it would stand “in the money” or “out of money”.
