Definition: Change Management

According to Prosci, Change management (CM) is a way to deal with transitioning people, utilizing behavioral sciences. 

Change management is the procedure, instruments and systems to deal with the people-side of change to accomplish the required business result. Change management consolidates the organizational tools that can be used to offer people some assistance with making fruitful individual moves bringing about the selection and acknowledgment of progress.
