Definition: Job

A job can be defined as a group of similar tasks that an employee performs in an organization in exchange for pay or salary.

These tasks consist of duties and responsibilities defined for each employee to keep the organization up and working towards its short-term objectives and long term goals.

Examples of jobs are engineering, teaching, administration, accounting, etc. All the jobs pertain to different functions in the organization. And there are professionals working on each job as employees.
