Definition: Jumble Display

A lot of products from different brands are displayed in a single place. This is more like a clearance table. Most of the time, all the products in the sale is sold for the same price. The profit and loss from the products are matched. This is also called dump display.

This is mostly used in retail business and in open display where the products of same kind are sold. Customers mostly just see through the variety of merchandise and select them based on their valuation of the products. Most of the time customers buy more than what they were intended to buy.

Sometimes combinations of the products are also given to sell more products. A product that sells less is combined with a product which sells more. This way more merchandise is cleared off.
