Definition: Vending Machine
Vending machine is an automatic machine which accepts currency notes, coins, credit cards, some scans cards made especially for the machine or scans mobile(Japan) and deduct amount from the mobile bill and sells different products like snacks, beverages, groceries, cigarettes (age verification required), newspaper(common in US and Canada) etc.
Vending machines are located at various public places for the customers. Tourist places, bus stations, metro or railway stations, airports etc are equipped with vending machines which give customers quick access to products, without manual intervention.
