Third Party Technique is PR strategy in which a company hires external employees to publicize company's identity, message or news. 

The whole point is that the company needs to pass on a message to people or specific set of individuals. In the third party technique they make sure that the source of the news seem quite good and true. 

Usually PR firms carry out the marketing of firm through various mediums. This method is used to highlight the positives of a company through journalists, PR professionals etc.
