Definition: Holistic Marketing
Holistic Marketing is the newest marketing approach emerged due to changing marketing environment like globalization, internet development and demographic changes. Holistic Marketing is the marketing strategy that considers business as a whole and not separate entity. Holistic marketing involves interconnected marketing activities. It is designed by considering breadth and interdependencies of the processes and activities. Holistic marketing is based on the philosophy that everything matters.
For Example- An organization will have different departments like sales and marketing, accounts and finance, HR, operations, R&D department.
Holistic marketing approach is necessary to ensure that customer buy your product over other available products. Marketing Communications is the key driver of the Holistic marketing. The purpose of the marketing communications is to send right message to the target group. Internal marketing, relationship marketing, performance marketing and integrated marketing are four main components of this approach-
• Internal marketing - for better and balanced work between departments.
• Relationship marketing -for better relations with customers.
• Performance marketing -for driving sales and revenue growth.
• Integrated marketing- products, services and marketing go hand-in-hand.
Holistic Marketing includes all the 4 Ps and 4 Cs of the marketing mix.
