What is Environmental Management?

Environmental management can be understood as those administrative functions that are associated with development, implementation, and monitoring of the environmental policy of an organization. It is a systematic approach to minimize the ill-effects to the environment by an organization. This has become an important issue in organizations because now consumers increasingly expect businesses to be atleast environmentally aware, if not environmentally friendly.
