In today’s world, when information travels very fast through social media, one wrong step or one negative incident may bring down the brand reputation of a company. To rebuild this reputation takes ages. Although companies can be cautious that such incidents do not occur, the possibility of occurrence of such events cannot be completely eradicated. Hence, it is the job of the marketing professionals to manage the reputation of brand/company by managing such crises.
