Definition: Culture

It is a set of beliefs, attitudes and behavior shared by all the members of a group. The group in this case can be a community, an ethnic race, a particular age group or an organization. The culture is inherent and is difficult to change. The culture would hence define the group and its people. The culture also governs the preferences and tastes of people and hence plays a major role for a marketer.
