A subculture may be defined as a group of people in the organization who has a different culture which differentiates them from the culture in which they are currently working.
For example: This can be a result of employees belonging to a specific region like a group of ten employees from Bengal will work in a different way than a group of ten employees from Punjab. It can also because of the way they think about their work, the employees who find their work boring will behave in a different fashion than those who find their work interesting.
Hence there becomes subcultures inside the organization which are usually not in line with the overall culture of the organization.
