Definition: Product Bundle

Product bundle is one where two or more products or services are combined together for sale as a one combined product. It is generally done to create differentiation, create greater value and therefore enhance the offering to the customer.

Product Bundling is useful because: -

  • Marginal costs of product bundling are low
  • It generally increases the sales volume
  • Gives new channel opportunities and gets new customers

Examples: -

  • MS Office which gives everything together
  • McDonalds Happy meal
