Definition: Ethical Selling
Ethical selling and marketing refers to the practice of use of ethics in the sales and marketing activities of a business. It is the application of business ethics to the marketing initiatives of a business.
Marketing deals with satisfaction of needs and wants of customers. The products of a business are taken to customers through sales and marketing. Therefore, it is very important for marketing activities to be ethical in nature as the customer is directly impacted by these activities.
