Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is a leading association of supply chain management professionals present worldwide. The main objective of CSCMP is “To lead the evolving supply chain management profession by developing, advancing, and disseminating supply chain knowledge and research"


The CSCMP provides leadership in the design, development and improvement in various occupations that deal with the management of supply chains and logistics and is a non-profit association. The CSCMP was formerly known as Council of Logistics Management (CLM) which changed its name in 2004. The CSCMP organizes "Supply Chain Innovation Award competition" as a part of its global conference which is attended by professionals of supply chain coming from many countries.


The CSCMP sponsors annual “State of Logistics Report”, which is compiled by a panel of leaders representing various areas of supply chain. It also publishes Journal of Business Logistics (JBL) which provides a forum for the creating awareness about the research and best practices used in the area of supply chain and logistics.
