Shipper is one who sends the goods under shipment and holds all the responsibility of packing labeling, arranging transit as well as coordinating for the delivery to its destination.
Most of the export are looked after by the shippers who expertise in shipping goods from one location to another. They also take care of any custom clearance that requires before importing or exporting goods.
They charge the consignment holder or sender their freight charges along with their value addition charges.
Eg: Company ABC importing goods from Germany takes help of Shipper to arrange for the entire transportation from Germany to ABC’s premises. It is shipper’s responsibility to deliver these goods at right location in given time.
