All the activities which are related to the movement of goods out of company premises are referred to as outbound activities. Outbound activity is a vital component of supply chain management.

It is as important as any other activity as final delivery of goods to client depends on the efficiency of outbound activities.

Eg: After final inspection goods are packed and dispatched through outbound station for its delivery.
