Brief Project Description & Responsibilities:

The main objective was to analyse the profitability of the company on the various parameters as described by the company officials. The whole data was provided by the company from their personal databases, websites and annual reports.


What was the overview of the project? Elaborate with some details

“To Examine and Analyse The Region-Wise & Zonal-Wise Profitability Of the company and Understand The Unique Pricing Structures Involved In That Industry”

To examine the revenue sources of the various products, different cost structures, and then analyse the profitability for the Regional as well as Zonal offices using different financial parameters.

Monday to Friday, reporting at 9 am to 5.30 pm.

The experience was good, nice people, staff and helpers. Felt very comfortable and homely. Good treatment was given to me. I was never considered as an outsider. Help was given to me all the time and whenever needed. Hospitality was very warm and caring.


How was the selection process conducted?

The company came on our campus. First, short listing of CV. Second, GD. Third, Personal Interview. Fourth, results and joining letters.


What were your key learnings from the summer internship?

Excel practices, work environment, hierarchy of people, day to day issues in the company, formal agreements, importance of data, its security and privacy.

Work culture, reporting to supervisors, meeting new transferred people, handling of data of various kinds, meeting different department heads.


Few tips would you give to your juniors

1. Know about the organisation in details.

2. be comfortable with different people.

3. be polite and seek help without hesitation.

4. be active in your work and approach.
