Two teams with the best solutions will be awarded cash-prize of Rs.30,000 and Rs.20,000 for first and second place respectively.
As part of Samiksha, you will be given a business scenario faced by a company. And you have to come up with a viable, and apt solution to the problems that you identify in the case. There will be two rounds in the competition. Teams qualifying from the first round will be invited on campus to present their solution before the judging panel.
Our focus this year is on Employee Relations, an integral aspect of the HR function. Most importantly, it has emerged again as a critical area owing to set of events in the industry off-late. Also, keeping in view the dearth of IR professionals in the industry today, we hope the symposium will be way forward to build an appreciation of the function amongst students.
Samiksha is part of Anveshan, a national-level symposium on People Management organised by HRiday. Goa’s first such initiative, it is also a first in the history of the Goa Institute of Management.
