FMS-Delhi is one of the premier B-Schools in India and Vihaan, the social service cell of FMS Delhi is focussed at bringing the best out of its students not only in terms of business leadership, but also in the form of social responsibility and empathy. In this regards, FMS is conducting a one-day event, an effort unlike any undertaken by colleges in Delhi. The event aims at brainstorming and discussing the issues faced by NGOs like TeachForIndia, ENACTUS, UdayanCare, Tamana, Make a Difference, TeachIndia etc. and their approach towards addressing them. Many of these NGOs are fighting for issues like women empowerment challenges in providing employment opportunities, gathering raw materials and funding. They also help in the upliftment of children by providing them basic education,orphan-homes and a platform where the children can be exposed to facilities, resources and opportunities that would otherwise have been beyond their reach. These NGOs have been working towards making the society and the unprivileged self-sustainable. The event is also envisioned to help bolster this endeavour and spread awareness regarding the key social issues and their sustainable solutions.
