This event is a nationwide event and is open to management students, undergraduate students, corporate professionals (Years of Experience), as well as other independent individuals (employed or unemployed).
BizzNeeti 2015 will be conducted in two phases. In the first round, participants submit executive summaries of their business ideas. These are assessed on various parameters like ingenuity of the underlying approach, understanding of existing market landscape and growth trajectory for the business. 10 teams will be selected on basis of their executive summaries. Shortlisted teams move on to the second round where they have to make a comprehensive business plan and have an opportunity to present their ideas to the respected jury and angel investors.
Round 1: Submission of Executive Summary:
Teams will have to submit an executive summary of their business plans.
The executive summary should cover specific aspects such as financials, operational issues, marketing and HR strategy and contingency plans.
Round 2: Final Presentation – On-Campus Round
Winners from the first round will be invited to the campus on 14th March,2015. Final round comprises of presentation and Q & A with judges. The presentation must contain all the required aspects of their B-plan.
The final B-plan and presentation have to be submitted before the day of the event on 13th March,2015.
Rules and Regulations
Teams will have unique team names of their choosing, and will be required to nominate a team lead. The proposed venture's name may be same or different than the team name. The teams are required to indicate team during registration.
Any supplementary information meant for the teams will be communicated directly to the team lead subsequently via email.
The event is open for teams comprising of Business school students, undergraduate students, corporate professionals (experience to be mentioned), as well as other independent individuals (employed or self-employed)
A team can have a maximum of 5 members. Members can be from any organization.
All the members may or may not be from the same organization.
One participant cannot be part of more than one team.
No change in the team structure is permitted after the team is registered.
Basis of Evaluation
The judging panel will evaluate the plans on the basis of:
Reasonable opportunity for success of the company
Company meets an identifiable need
Originality of your product or service in the market
Company has a believable competitive advantage
Communication, presentation and time management (during presentation)
Confidentiality & Legal
BizzNeeti NMIMS MPSTME, honors the confidentiality of all participants and their business plans and venture ideas. All judges and mentors associated with the competition also recognize the sensitivity of the plans being presented.
BizzNeeti Organizing Team may publicize the names and associations of judges and mentors associated in the evaluation rounds of the competition. However, the individual contact information for such judges will neither be disclosed, nor be sought by any of the teams.
No participating team may under any circumstances attempt to contact a judge during evaluation stages of the competition. Any such behavior will result in the disqualification of the team from the competition.
