TOPIC: Will privatization lead to less Corruption?

Will privatization lead to less Corruption? 2 years, 11 months ago #1981

Corruption occurs between 2 people. It has nothing to do with private companies or public companies. If people want to indulge in corruption and bad practices, they would do so.

Corruption is present everywhere. It more of an individuals thinking and ethical values. I personally know a lot of people in the private sector who give gifts, money, travel tkts etc to get their work done. Even this is corruption. and i know people in the public sector who are very honest.
It can be stopped with strict implementation of laws.

Privatisation is a good way to stop corruption becasue:
- Organisation is more structured
- people are responsible and are always answerable for their actions
- transparency in processes
- people are paid well and also have perks so they dont hav to indulge in other things

The govt should have honest leaders if there is any chance of an impact. Unless the leaders are good it wont make a difference
