Hi. I am a 1st yr student. I want to take up Operations as my specialization next year.
But I am not a tech Grad. ( I am Bsc ,major in physics. With maths and statistics up to 2nd yr.).
I have heard that companies call only engineers for MBA operations campus interviews.

Should I take up operations ? Or should opt for any other specialization.
I don't want to opt for Mktg. Or HR.

Its not the case that companies only aim for engg students. Its s simple case that around 70-80% students in mba are engineers. so the conversion rate appears to be hiigher. Just work out the best poosible operations subjects and focus on MIS, SCM, Logistics etc. If you hav a sound foundation in you academics, placement should not be a problem
