Agricultural Bank of China is one of the Big four banks in the People’s Republic of China and is also known as AgBank.
Headquartered in Dongcheng district, Beijing, the bank was founded in 1951 and has branches in mainland China, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, New York, Frankfurt, Sydney and Singapore. The Agricultural Cooperation Bank, formed by a merger of Farmer’s Bank of China and Cooperation Bank and later merged into Central Bank can be considered AgBanks’ predecessor.
