The company is responsible for marketing, sales and distribution of Honda and Acura brands of automobiles in USA (Acura is its Luxury brand). Its parent company is headquartered at Tokyo, Japan. In United States, Honda was the first company to create a subsidiary and sell its vehicles in the country and it was the first company to manufacture vehicles in North America. It has approximately 198,561 employees. In April 2015, AHM has sold 130,068 units in USA which is 1.8% less as compared to units sold in April 2014. As of May 2015, its market capitalization is $61.4 Billion.
