Agricultural Bank of China also known as AgBank is one of the Big four banks in the People’s Republic of China and has its Headquarters in Dongcheng district, Beijing.
The bank formed by a merger of Farmer’s Bank of China and Cooperation Bank and later merged into Central Bank (which can be considered AgBanks’ predecessor) in 1951 and has increased its reach by having branches in China, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, New York, Frankfurt, Sydney and Singapore. Currently, Zhang Yun is the president of Agriculture Bank of China and it employs 444238 employees. AgBank has 320 million retail customers, 2.7 million corporate clients and around 24000 branches.
