The parent is a ground handling provider headquartered at Bengaluru. The airline received The Air Operator Permit (AOP) from the regulatory authority DGCA in March 2015. Air Pegasus commenced its operations from April 2015 with its inaugural flight from Bengaluru to Hubli. The company has its hub presently in Bengaluru and operates flights to Hubli and Trivandrum.
Air Pegasus has a fleet of three ATR 72-500 aircrafts with a seating capacity of 74 seats each. The airline plans to connect Tier-II and Tier-III cities in the southern part of the country by gradually connecting to Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Rajahmundry, Pondicherry and Madurai.
