The airline is owned by InterGlobe Enterprises and has its headquarters in Gurgaon. Its primary hub is in Delhi with other hubs in Mumbai and Kolkata.
IndiGo operates around 580 flights daily to 31 domestic and 5 international destinations. It provides international service to Muscat, Dubai, Kathmandu, Singapore and Bangkok. As of March 2015, IndiGo had a fleet size of 89 leased aircrafts comprising Airbus A 320-200s with a seating capacity of 180 passengers. In October 2014, the company had signed a MoU with Airbus for 250 A320neo aircrafts.
IndiGo’s market share has been on a continuous rise since its inception with the airline occupying the top spot with about 33% market share. Its increase in market share can be attributed to capacity addition and route expansion. However its international market share has been relatively flat at 7%.
