Thomas Cook Airlines is a British charter airlines founded in 2003. Its headquarters are located in Manchester, England. Airlines parent group is Thomas Cook Group.
The group has Sister Airlines having a Joint Fleet management. Some of these are Belgium based, Scandinavian based and German based airlines. Tagline is “Let’s Go”.
Major Operating bases includes Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, East Midlands, Glasgow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester and New castle. Airlines is responsible for carrying 6.7 million passengers to 60 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa and America. Fleet size is 32 and currently have following fleets: Airbus 321- 200, Boeing 757- 200/300, Boeing 767 – 300 and Airbus A330-200(SunnyHeart).By the summer 2015 it is expected that airlines will acquire other seven A321’s.
Recently new routes to New York and Miami has been announced. Airlines also provides innovative services to the passengers such as brand new A330 Premium cabin, economy short and long haul cabin services. Airlines has adopted a new booking system after a removal of Air Passenger duty (APD) for children under 12 from 1st May 2015.Airline is refurbishing its economy long haul cabin services.
Airlines is one of the First UK airline to achieve ISO 14001 certification aimed on environmental impact. According to Travel Mole UK Awards, Airlines has won the Airline website of 2015 .Airlines has won many awards such as Runner UP UK Charter for Punctuality, Most environmentally responsible, Flight on Time awards etc. Large number of flights operate from its Birmingham airport and recently new aircraft was added to its Birmingham base. Boeing 757 fleet was replaced by airbus A320 as a result of this more than 47000 flights seats are offered to customers. Other extra aircraft adopted by the airline from Birmingham airport are Mytilene, Kalamata in Greece, Djerba in Tunisia, and daily flight to Dalaman, Turkey.
