5. NewBalance

Demonstrating responsible leadership, NewBalance builds global brands that sportsmen are proud to wear, designers are conceited to make and societies are pompous to host.

New Balance is an American Based Footwear Manufacturer based in Boston and is dedicated to manufacturing and selling footwear for running, cross training, tennis and other sporting activities.  The company offers fitness apparel and kids' shoes and heads leather boots and shoes manufacturer Dunham. Other brands include Aravon which mainly makes shoes for ladies; ‘PF Flyers’ footwear of the lifestyle genre and ‘Brine and Warrior’ Sports equipment and clothing.  New Balance is the Apparel partner of the ‘Melbourne Football Club’ in the AFL which is the national football league of Australia. It also sponsors cricketers of global repute including Steve Smith,  JonathanTrott and Pat Cummins. March 2015 saw the company launch its first ever football advertisement, a feat that included Aaron Ramsay, Samir Nasri, Januzaj among other notable names. New Balance Executional Excellence (NBEE) is a ‘lean manufacturing program’ modeled after the manufacturing innovation brought in by Toyota. Living in a dynamic fast-paced world where the consumer is in charge, quick response is imperative. NBEE permitted NB associates to cut down making times by eliminating waste. NewBalance also boasts five modern production facilities, and one indigenous distribution center in the U.S.  which allows NB to be nearer to the market, resulting in shorter lead times for domestically-made shoes.
