Japan Airlines was established in August 1951 and commenced its operations on 25 October 1951 and became Japan’s national airline in 1953.


Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the airlines has main hubs in Narita international airport, Kansai international airport, Tokyo and Osaka international airport. The carrier is a member of Oneworld alliance and has programs like JAL Mileage Bank and JAL Global Club for frequent fliers. Japan Airlines is the flag carrier for Japan.
