Currently, it serves over 85 million customers across 70 nations. It has around 147,000 employees and ranks number 21 in the global Forbes 2000 list. It is the leading insurance provider in Germany and one of the world’s largest asset managers. Most of its insurance markets are served by local Allianz companies while some are run globally like Global Corporate Customers, Credit Insurance, Assistance Services, Worldwide Care, Global Automotive and Reinsurance.
