TPG Telecom Limited was formed in 2008 as a result of merger between Total Peripherals Group (established in 1992 by David and Vicky Teoh) and SP Telemedia.

The company provides a range of communication services to a diverse set of users- residential, government, small and medium enterprises, large corporations and wholesale customers. TPG offers a diverse range of products including NBN, nationwide ADSL2+, Ethernet and fiber optic broadband access, Internet Protocol Television, telephony services, SIM only mobile plans and various networking solutions. Headquartered in New South Wales, Australia that specializes in business and consumer internet services besides mobile services. TPG Telecom owns end-to-end infrastructure and includes over 400 DSLAM enabled exchanges across Australia and submarine cable connecting Australia to Guam with onwards connectivity to Japan and US. TPG acquired AAPT in February 2014 and hence added inter capital fiber optic network to its assets.

Headed by David Teoh, TPG employed around 1400 employees and is increasingly enhancing its position as a major force in the Australian Telecommunication Market. The company strives to provide reliable, cost effective and fast communications.
