It is now named Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd. It was founded in April 1936 and Shashi Shekhar is its Editor in Chief. It has 19 editions and they are spread across Delhi, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. It is a clear leader in Bihar in terms of readership. It is head quartered in New Delhi. It has opened new printing locations in Meerut, Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly and Kanpur. Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd also publishes Nandan which is a monthly children magazine and Kadambini which is also a monthly magazine which focuses on discerning topics.
