Dainik Jagaran is a Hindi language newspaper and is the most read daily in India.

It has also been declared as the most read newspaper in the world by the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) and was voted by BBC-Reuters as the most credible source of new. It is owned by Jagran Prakashan Ltd. which is listed on the National Stock Exchange of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange. It was launched in Jhansi in 1942 by a nationalist Puran Chandra Gupta. It has 37 editions and covers 11 states of India. It also publishes iNext which targets the young audience, City Plus which is a weekly English tabloid and other regional tabloids.
