There are many attractive tourist places near the old district, Sultanahmet of Istanbul. Few of the most famous and historically important places in the city are Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Sultanahmet Mosque (which is also known as Blue Mosque) are situated near Sultanahmet Square.

New Istanbul which is the main business district of the city is located in the North of Taksim Square. Military Museum has Ottoman music concerts every day. Most of the skyscraper buildings are located in this district.
In the south if Istanbul, Princes' Islands are there. These islands are featured with pine groves and wooden mansions.
