Here is a list of the top 10 tablets in the world in 2015. Tablets, or tabs as they are popularly known as, have created a huge market across the globe. Popular companies manufacturing tabs are Apple, Samsung, ASUS, Microsoft,  etc who have made stylish sleek and user-friendly tabs. Tabs are not only convenient to use, but also give the users access to millions of apps which made their life more colourful and give them plenty of tools.

10. Panasonic (Toughpad)

Panasonic Corporation is a Japanese multinational electronics company that is headquartered in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan.

It is one of the largest electronic goods producers of Japan along with Sony, Toshiba, Canon Inc., Hitachi, etc. Apart from electronic goods it also deals with home renovation services. The company was previously known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd. It got changed to Panasonic Corporation on 1st October 2008.

In October 2014, Panasonic announced the launch of an Android powered rugged tablet under its Toughpad tablet series FZ-B2. Aimed at field based workers, the tablet was expected to hit shelves in Europe and USA by December and it would be priced at GBP 709 and $1299 respectively. In 2014, Panasonic had also launched a budget tablet in India priced at Rs. 5990. Some of its features are Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, 4-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM.

Panasonic also released Toughpad BZ-B2 tablet in UK in December 2014 and USA in February 2015. It has been designed to suit the needs of workers in the industry. It is dust proof and water proof and is also shock tested from 1.8 metres. It also has the ability to function in extreme temperatures ranging from -10 degree to 50 degree centigrade. In India, Panasonic launched two versions of its rugged tablet in May 2015. The tablets were named Toughpad FZ-E1 and FZ-X1 containing the OS Windows and Android respectively. The devices are 4G enabled having a 14 hour battery life. The Windows variant is priced at Rs. 119,000 whereas the Android variant is priced at Rs. 109,000.
