ASUSTeK Computer Inc. popularly known as ASUS is a multinational company that deals with computer hardware and electronics.

It is headquartered in Beitou District, Taipei in Taiwan. The products of ASUS include desktops, laptops, notebooks, netbooks, mother boards, graphic cards, servers and tablet PCs. It is the third largest PC vendor by sales and it features in Asia’s Top 10 IT Companies. It has a primary listing in Taiwan Stock Exchange and a secondary listing in London Stock Exchange.
In November 2014, ASUS introduced its range of Transformer Series tabs in India by launching Transformer Pad TF103 Android tablet. The Transformer Pad sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with HD resolution and 170 degree wide viewing angle. It has a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera. In June 2015, ASUS announced the launch of ZenPad S 8.0 tablet at the Computex event in Taipei. The tablet is touted to be the first in the world to have 4GB RAM. It has an 8-inch display and comes with a Gorilla Glass protection. It comes with storage options of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
ASUS is expected to come out with a hybrid two in one laptop/tablet Transformer Book. The tablet is aimed at consumers and business users and it provides the benefits of a laptop as well as a tablet at the same time thereby offering the simplicity and convenience of a tablet PC. The ZenPad tablets that are expected to be rolled out combine entertainment along with productivity capabilities and is available in 3 sizes, viz. 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch.
