Nestle acquired its flagship brand Maggie in 1947 which has helped to increase Nestle’s revenues significantly in recent years. In 2014, for altering its policies and practices to minimize adverse impacts on animals   Nestlé received the Henry Spira Corporate Progress Awards. In March 2015, Nestle was ranked second in the list Oxfam’s Behind the Brands scorecard, where the NGO ranks the world’s ‘Big 10’ consumer food & beverage companies on the basis of their policies.
