McDonald’s was started as a barbeque restaurant by Dick and Mac McDonald in California in 1940 named as Bar-B-Q Restaurant, and has since then become a global player in the fast food industry. In 1948, it was closed for alterations and re-opened as McDonald’s.

The tasty food offered by the company has made it a family and friend’s go-to place for having a quick snack and also has made it one of the most respected brands worldwide.
