Verizon, previously Bell Atlantic Corporation, was founded in the year 1983 and is headquartered in New York, the United States.

It is one of the largest in provision of wireless communications services in the country and consistently the largest in terms of number of subscribers for it provides to 98% of the USA wireless network coverage and serves 99% of the Fortune 1000 customers. The company had a revenue of $131.6 billion in the financial year ending 2015.
