The American Honda Motor Company, Inc. (AHM) is a North American subsidiary of the Honda Motor Company, Ltd. It was established in 1959.

Honda claims to be firsts for a Japanese car maker in the United States in several segments: Claims to be first to create a subsidiary in the US market and sell its vehicles in the country, and the first to design and manufacture automobiles in North America.
