Music is part of our lives whether we realize it or not, whether we actively participate in it or not, whether we appreciate its power or not. This is, in fact, the real power of music - that it can affect us whether we are aware of it or not. We buy our favorite music in record stores, we download from the internet, we search for the latest videos on youtube or we tune in to our favourite radio stations. Then there’s live music, be it school friends with a guitar during the lunch break, a nightclub with just a few tables, or a large concert or giant arena where thousands are gathered to share in the experience of music making.

Movies are a great way of entertaining the people world over. Being an engineering graduate (currently I am pursuing MBA!) I can definitely say that movies are an integral part of the student life. We spent a significant part of our time in college watching movies – irrespective of their reviews or ratings. This led me to some interesting facts like India comes 2nd in the list of top 100 movies in the world (going by IMDB ratings). And there are many wonderful movies which are not made in English but are worth watching.
