Movies are a great way of entertaining the people world over. Being an engineering graduate (currently I am pursuing MBA!) I can definitely say that movies are an integral part of the student life. We spent a significant part of our time in college watching movies – irrespective of their reviews or ratings. But now in a B-school it is impossible to watch all the new movies and here comes the need of going through the reviews and ratings of movies. This led me to some interesting facts like India comes 2nd in the list of top 100 movies in the world (going by IMDB ratings). And there are many wonderful movies which are not made in English but are worth watching.
My infographic focusses on this aspect of the movies. The infographic considers the movies released between January 1, 2014 and November 14, 2014 and their related information. It gives a glimpse of the number of countries from which these top movies come. Interstellar has become the highest grosser (opening month) in just few days. These are some cool facts which led me to choose this topic. The one thing which I wanted to include in the infographic was genre of the movie but since IMDB lists 2-3 genres for each movie, it was impossible to create an accurate infographic. I hope the reviewer will enjoy the facts.
