1.It had entered computer industry but failed, there was a huge opportunity in that industry if it had innovated further as it could directly supply to the government.
2. As it had entered many business, further development of various products could have allowed it to grow bigger and better.


1.Elliott Brothers was a direct threat though eventually both the companies collapsed.
2. New and innovative computer manufacturer were a threat as they innovated better than Ferranti.
3. Currently as it defense division directly deals with government, not innovating and beating the competition is a major threat and risk it faces.
