Definition: Deal Ticket

A deal ticket is also known as a trading ticket. It is a set of rules comprising of all trading related term, conditions and agreements. It is usually formulated after the transaction of shares or commodity is done.

It records the trade price, trade volume, the names of the individuals and commodity involved and the date of transactions, along with all other important and relevant data. These could be created either manually or computerised. These are used for internal control system to access transaction history if required.
