Definition: Weekly Chart

It is defined as a chart in which each data point shows the price movement for a week of trading. The Weekly chart shows the low and high of the stocks and open and closing rates for the week. It does not capture the daily movements of the stock rates.

Using these charts, the long- term analysis can be done and a trend can be identified to predict the future.

There are different types of charts:

a. Weekly Line Chart: Consists of the weekly closing price

b. Weekly Candlestick Chart: Shows all open, close, high and low for the week

Using a weekly chart, profits can be ensured. A bearish or a bullish change shows a major change of trend. The changes in the candles are observed and the trend is predicted.
