Definition: Financial Plans

Financial plans are the plans drawn by companies for the future. The firms analyze their current and past financial performance to determine their future investments, cash flows, budget, asset allocations and liabilities.

The purpose of these plans is to adequately fund the future growth plans the company is planning to undertake or to maintain the growth and operations of the firm in future.
